HEKO extends its product program due to the purchase of a new manufacturing plant
On the 21st of September, 2005, HEKO purchased another manufacturing plant located within the Zak³ady Chemiczne DWORY (the DWORY Chemical Plant) facilities at town of Oœwiêcim.
This investment allowed extending the HEKO chemical production program with the following products:
a) the D Thickener

2. Features
OCOLAN KL adheres well to various materials: glass, wood, leather, textiles, concrete, plastics. Both coats and welds made from OCOLAN KL feature water resistance, high gloss, high resistance to external factors: light, temperature changes.
OCOLAN KL is soluble by various solvents: ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, toluene, xylene, cyclohexanol.
3. Application
OCOLAN KL is applied for manufacturing colourless and colour varnishes/lacquers, for antique preservation, for sticking electric accessories or insulated electric cables onto concrete or slagconcrete walls, wood, metals, plaster work, and other surfaces. Easily applicable as a sticking compound.
4. Application method
Surfaces to be sticked together or varnished must be dry, clean, and fat-free. Apply OCOLAN KL onto both surfaces to be joined, wait a moment, and push against each other. The surfaces should be kept under pressure for several minutes to obtain good contact. We recommend drying the components after sticking together to increase the adhesion force. The joint needs between 2 and 6 hours to harden. The hardening time depends on the environments temperature, joint thickness and area. Apply OCOLAN KL in well ventilated rooms due to the hazardous solvent.
5. Package
OCOLAN KL is packed in steel drums with a PE sack of 80 dm3 capacity inside. Other package types can be applied according to customer wish while ordering.
6. Storage
OCOLAN KL is recommended for storing far from heat sources, at temperature not above 30 oC. At such conditions, the product keeps its properties for 12 months from date of manufacture.
The new production line and the production technology were purchased in order to guarantee the highest quality of HEKO Oœwiêcim products. Our experienced employees care for the highest quality of products. |
